Who we’re looking for: A number of volunteers who will guide, shape, and create an actionable business plan for Better Because Collective. The business plan will help the nonprofit organization gain clarity on the how, why, and what for operating our programs and engaging with our audience. It will also serve as a reference for us to leverage when considering the current and future strategy of the organization.
We realize this role is a fairly large undertaking for one person, and as such are very open to discussing working with more than one volunteer to fulfill these duties and write specific sections of the business plan. If you are interested in one section, please feel free to apply and mention which section you’re most interested in.
Time commitment: Better Because Collective is an organization based on support, authenticity, and honesty. Your commitment to seeing the project through to completion is really important.
We are seriously committed to finding volunteers who are dedicated and enthusiastic about our cause that they are able to skillfully integrate their volunteer work with the organization into their lives with careful consideration and balance.
What’s in it for you? Be an integral part of a new nonprofit organization and join a passionate all-volunteer team working to empower people and support discussions around mental health.
- Learn through collaboration amongst the organization’s volunteers and contributors
- Add to your resume and portfolio
- Receive a professional recommendation from the Executive Director
Communications: We’re a small team of dedicated volunteers working remotely around the United States. Open communication and clear expectations are necessary to get tasks done on time. We value your time and commitment just as much as you respect ours. We often use Slack and Trello to plan, discuss, and debate.
To apply: Send an email to the recruitment team at info@betterbecausecollective.org with the following information:
- Your resume, your portfolio, or some links to previous work so we can get a sense of the type of work you’ve done.
- Why you are interested, and why you’d be a good fit.
- What section/s you think you’re most qualified for.
- The time zone you’re currently located in.
